A little about us, we are a small light show that does a light show for a few holidays each year. The first holiday we do a light show for is Halloween. After Halloween, we change around some of our decorations for Veterans Day. Then after veterans day, we go into our favorite holiday which is Christmas. 

We started out only doing a show Christmas light show back in 2018 when we first moved into the Lorson Ranch neighborhood. So for a short while, we were called the Tamosaitis Christmas Light Show. Over the years our show has grown in so many different ways. 

In the beginning, we first started we just had the regular Christmas lights that everyone has and a few blow-up yard inflatables. After that, we quickly moved up to what is sometimes called a Mr. Christmas controller. This allowed us to connect some of our light strings to a box that would randomly flash different stings while playing different songs. 

What’s next?

But we knew we want more. So we did some digging around the Internet and for a great product called Light-O-Rama. This product was great for what we needed because we could now sequence our strands of lights to whatever song we wanted. While playing those songs over our very own radio station. 

But after a few years of using the Light-O-Rama product, we start finding more and more about these great little lights called Pixels. Now, these pixels come in all kinds of shapes and sizes and types and we could not even imagine all the things we could do with them.

Since we decided to see how we can make these pixels a part of our show. Over all these years, we added more and more lights and yard decorations and projectors. So we decided it was time for another change so around 2019 we started to add pixels to our show. To control those pixels we added a Pixel controller from Falcon Pixel Controllers a company based out of Falcon, Colorado. We also had to make a switch from the Light-O-Rama software we had been using over to new software called Xlights.

Using Xlights software with the Falcon controllers and having pixels opened up so many more possibilities for us. Because with a pixel we can make the lights any color we want. So no more having to take down Halloween lights. Then put up red, white, and blue lights for Veteran’s day. Lastly, take those down and put up Christmas lights. We can now put up one strand of lights and make it any color we want it to be.
